Weather to remain 'unsettled'

The weather is likely to remain unsettled over the next two weeks, according to the latest forecasts.
The Times reports that last week, hundreds of families were forced to cancel their holidays as a result of the floods that hit parts of England - meaning that tour operators then had to find them seats on alternative departures to different destinations.
Victims of floods have been charged between £70 and £140 to have their flights rescheduled - but Michael Tarling of the Association of British Insurers says that most people who have been forced to cancel trips will be covered by their travel insurance policies.
"If you've got travel insurance, it probably covers you for missed flights due to adverse weather," Mr Tarling told the broadsheet newspaper.
"This applies to most policies, but not all - our advice is, check your cover."
